Egg size hail hit Colorado hard this year. Recently, the locations impacted were Northeastern Castle Rock, Franktown and Sedalia. A large severe storm moved through the area July 1st and caused damage along the East side of Castle Rock, right before the holiday weekend. The Founders and Castlewood Ranch areas were affected particularly hard, causing damage to roofs, siding, and gutters. Our phones started to ring almost immediately, and the team at Wimmer was packed up and ready to get to work.
Hail storms are common in certain parts of Colorado, so fixing hail damaged roofs is nothing new to Wimmer Roofing and Exteriors. When our team first got word of the storm, we had crews ready to take calls and visit damaged sites. Most of the roofs in the affected areas were in need of full replacements, and are mostly covered by insurance. Here at Wimmer, our team of professionals are trained to deal directly with insurance companies, so you don't have to. We have the knowledge to be able to guide you through this process, which we know can be stressful and complicated.
When this storm hit the Castle Rock area, we sent our Account Executives out to sites as quickly as we could, in order to get the process started. We even met with adjusters and prepared our crews for an influx of work to help homeowners in this community stay safe by either repairing, or fully replacing their roofs. The photo to the right shows a piece of hail that was collected from a job site in Castle Rock right after the storm hit. Although the size of this hail was impressive, Our Account Executivres have been a part of the roofing industry for quite some time, so this is something they have seen many times before.
Our teamwork and urgency to help homeowners when the storm hit the Castle Rock and surrounding areas is what sets us apart from other local roofing companies. We have the knowledge, experience, and commitment to get the jobs done in a timely manner and to help our communities get back to normalcy as quickly as possible. If you've experienced any type of damage to your roof in Colorado, call us today for a free estimate.
